Thriving Together
a therapist-led group for BIPOC individuals living with chronic illness
Living with a chronic illness is HARD.
The physical and psychological symptoms are challenging. Navigating our complex healthcare system. Finding the right treatments. Coming to terms with the lifelong impact. Adjusting relationship and career goals and expectations. Accepting your body’s pain and limitations.
And then doing it all while living in a body that is often marginalized or ignored?
You need a community of support and resources that truly understand your experience.
In our Thriving Together group you’ll get:
What to expect in every session:
Guided meditation and opportunities to talk openly about how you feel - physically and emotionally - each week
Learn new skills and practice them in real-time with group members to manage pain, anxiety, and stress
Work to improve communication skills and address relationship dynamics with friends, family, partners, and healthcare providers
