With That Being Said…

there’s also a podcast!

Have you ever thought it’d be great to get professional  advice on a relationship dilemma?  Wondered whether your momentary stress or panic warranted a second opinion?  Do you want to communicate with friends or coworkers better even when they push your buttons?

These are the kinds of things therapists discuss all day.  We are not just in our office to help with depression, anxiety, or family crisis (though we definitely do that!).  Psychotherapists are uniquely trained and naturally curious about how to be happier, healthier, and just have more fun in  every area of life.  But don’t take my word for it… subscribe to our podcast, With That Being Said, and listen to Erica Turner and I chat with people from all walks of life about everything that matters.

with that being said... therapy is not a dirty word podcast with Esther Boykin and Erica Turner

With That Being Said is a long conversation between friends, edited into weekly episodes that give you 2 therapists’ take on life, love, and everything in between.

Every episode is designed to help you learn a little more about living a happier life and having healthier relationships. The show features guest experts and lots of laughter because the best conversations are the one’s we have with our friends.  Like any new project, this show will undoubtedly evolve over time, but I promise that it will always be:

fun, smart, relatable, engaging, interesting, authentic, honest, actionable, & share-worthy

Most episodes are not really about therapy but we always bring a fresh and honest perspective and a glimpse into what therapists’ really think about when we’re off the clock.

It’s our hope that this peek inside the conversations between therapists and the interesting people we talk to, will shift the perception of therapy and therapists.  As well as give all of us a chance to get a little closer to living the life we really long for.

So with that being said, isn’t it time for you to join the conversation?
